The game-changer

You've got a powerful foundation for getting reviews now.

But the real game-changer is: your team's proactive and personable guidance!

Just having a visible QR code is a good beginning, but a direct, friendly request for a review has the power to dramatically increase your feedback.

This is where strategy meets service. Customers are typically receptive to leaving feedback when they're feeling good about their experience and are met with a timely, friendly suggestion to share it.

Integrated into the restaurant's service process

Here are a few examples that your staff can apply:

In connection with the invoice:
Waiter: "Did everything go well for you today? That's great to hear! If you have a moment, we'd really appreciate your online review! You can scan the QR code on this desk stand/invoice folder." (At the same time points to the code)

Towards the end of the meal (when the customers seem satisfied):
Waiter (e.g. when collecting empty plates): "I hope everything has been tasted! If you want to share your experience, there is a QR code on that table that you can use to directly leave us feedback. It helps us a lot!"

When handing over a pick-up order or paying at the cash register:
Staff member: "Thank you for ordering/visiting! Here's a QR code (e.g. as a sticker in a bag or a small card) through which you can leave us a review if you wish. Every feedback is important to us!"

Positive timing is important: Ask for a review when the customer is likely to be satisfied.
Ease: Point to the QR code and mention how fast it is to leave a review.
Friendliness: A sincere request feels personal.

Ideas for a hotel

Make it as easy as possible for your customers to leave a review by making the QR code as visible as possible! Here are some ideas for the best placements where the QR code really works:

Reception desk: At the check-in/check-out desk.
The room key case or the key card itself.

Room folder or information booklet in the room.
Nightstand or desk in the room: Small stand or sticker.

Lifts: On the wall or next to the door.
Lobby areas and lounges: At tables or information boards.

Tables/menus of the hotel's restaurant or bar
Spa or gym reception/changing rooms.
Invoice/receipt upon check-out.

SMS, WhatsApp message and email review request after check out - check if included in your package. If this is not included but you want to try this option, contact us.

Important to remember:

Timing: Choose a time when the customer is likely to be satisfied and has some time.

Naturalness: The request should feel like a natural part of the conversation, not tacked on.

Ease: Emphasize the ease and speed of the QR code.

Voluntary: Make it clear that leaving a review is completely voluntary.

Hotel service process

How can the hotel staff request a review at different stages of the visit, assuming that the QR code is easily accessible (e.g. at the reception desk, in the material in the room, in the key card case):

After positive feedback or interaction during the visit:
(The customer praises the breakfast or service to the staff)

Staff: "I'm really happy to hear that you enjoyed our breakfast/service! If you want to share your experience more widely, we have a small card in your room with a QR code directly to our review page. Every feedback is valuable to us."

When a customer asks for advice or help and receives good service (e.g. Concierge):

Staff: (Gives recommendations or helps with booking) "I hope these tips are helpful! If you feel that our service has been helpful and you want to mention it, the easiest way is to leave us a short review. You can find the QR code on this brochure stand (or in the room), for example, and it will take you directly to the right page."

When leaving the hotel's restaurant or spa (if they are part of the hotel and a separate payment point):

Staff: "Thank you for visiting our restaurant/spa! I hope everything was pleasant. If you want to give feedback about your experience and at the same time about your entire hotel stay, you can use this QR code to leave a review."
